Korth Park is located in Lake Mills on Rock Lake. There are two entrances to Korth Park, W8282 Elm Point Road and W8930 Korth Lane. Both entrances are just off of County Highway S, on the West side of Lake Mills, WI.
The center of the park offers great views of Rock Lake from atop a glacial drumlin. The park is great for walking, hiking, biking, picnicking and relaxing. Korth Park features a packed limestone bike trail as well as nearly 3 miles of groomed/paved/gravel walking and hiking paths.
There are two shelters. The first, Korth Lane Shelter, is a 3,500 sq feet 3 season shelter with kitchen facilities. The second, Elm Point Shelter, is a 28′ x 40′ Wooden Pavilion Structure. There are also restroom facilities near the Elm Point Shelter.
Korth park was purchased in 2000 to protect the water quality and fish habitat of Rock Lake. Since it’s purchase a lot has been done to sustain and repair the parks natural wildlife habitats. The park includes 8 acres of restored oak savanna and 60+ acres of tall grass prairies.
