Bartel’s Beach is located on S. Ferry Drive in the center of Lake Mills. Bartel’s Beach was formerly known as Lakeside Park. Bartel’s Beach is great for swimming, picnicking, and grilling. It offers a playground, grills, picnic tables, restrooms and fishing piers.
BARTEL’S BEACH RULES
1. Park closed: 10:30pm-4am Sunday-Thursday. 12am-4am Friday & Saturday.
2. Swimming hours: 8am-9pm at all designated swimming areas.
3. No Lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk.
4. Children under 10 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times.
5. Patrons must swim within the area designated by lifelines.
6. Patrons may not hang or sit on lifelines.
7. Patrons may not throw sand, rocks, or other potentially dangerous items.
8. Patrons may not engage in rough play including dunking, chicken fights, ect..
9. Pets are not allowed in the park.
10. Fishing is not permitted in swimming area.
11. Non-glass containers only.
12. No eating, drinking or smoking is allowed in the swimming area.
13. No fireworks are allowed.
14. Fires prohibited except for cooking within charcoal grills.
15. Personal music devices must be kept at a normal operating level that is not offensive or bothersome to any surrounding park patrons.
Violators may be asked to leave the premises or issued a citation.
